Who We Are

Pelican Parasailing is the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s only parasail outfit. We operate a "state-of-the-art" winch boat, designed specifically for parasailing. Our captains are USCG licensed and all captains and crew must be First Aid and CPR certified. They are rigorously trained before they step foot off the dock. All of our captains have a minimum of 5 years experience in locations such as Maui, the California coast, and Orange Beach. They’ve logged thousands of flights and have the experience needed to ensure a safe flight every time.

Our owners, Mike and Josh Schmitt, are local fisherman and business owners who were born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. They are aware of the need for more family activities on the Coast and want to provide a safe and fun environment to accomplish that. With USCG experience and a well-known and successful fishing lodge under their belt, they’re ready to embark on this new adventure and want you along for the ride!

Our mission is simple... to give our guests the safest, most peaceful flight of their life. Parasailers are given a "birds-eye-view" of our beautiful coastline. This includes the casinos, barrier islands, majestic waterfront homes, and a glimpse of marine life. You haven’t experienced the Mississippi Gulf Coast until you’ve seen it from 600’ in the sky! The Mississippi Gulf Coast offers sixty-two miles of scenic shoreline that includes twenty-six miles of soft white sand, offering an exceptional view from U.S. Highway 90, aka Beach Boulevard. A chain of barrier islands limits the amount of strong waves reaching the mainland beaches, making the calm, gentle waters ideal for water-based activities and children.

Pick up is straight from the dock at Point Cadet Marina, located on Hwy 90 at the end of casino row. This location puts you in the middle of the action with first class restaurants, casinos, night clubs, and you're in walking distance to Biloxi's Main Street District and historical sites.
